"Sea” dives into the emotional territory of depth. It does not speak of the surface or visible movement, but of what occurs beneath: broad, silent, and persistent emotions that do not need to assert themselves in order to exist. The work evokes an emotional state that is contained yet immense, where feeling is not about bursting forth, but about holding.

The layers of blues and dark tones convey a sense of immersion. There is no rush, no rupture; everything flows with a slow, enveloping cadence, like a deep, measured breath. Blue dominates as the central emotion: introspection, calm, gentle melancholy, and an intimate connection with the inner self. It is an emotion that does not seek explanation, only to be inhabited.

The textures and variations in density suggest emotional currents moving beneath the surface. Some areas feel heavier, others more open, reflecting how certain emotions accumulate while others dissolve. The sea here is not turbulent: it is deep, steady, and emotionally honest.

“Sea” speaks of quiet vulnerability. Of allowing what is felt to exist without urgency or dramatization. The work conveys a sense of emotional acceptance, of silent understanding, like when the body recognizes an emotion without needing to name it.

Emotionally, it is an invitation to descend. To come into contact with what endures, with what does not change quickly, with that which is part of us in the long term. “Sea” reminds us that not all emotions need intensity to be powerful; some transform through stillness, depth, and constancy.
