Metamorphosis: Submerged Light

✨Metamorphosis: Submerged Light ✨

30x40cm

Acrylic

In this piece from the Metamorphosis collection, transformation occurs in a quiet voice. Blue unfolds in horizontal layers, like a long breath flowing in and out without hurry. Veils of light brush the surface, denser areas anchor the rhythm, and subtle variations turn a single color into many states: clarity, waiting, relief, distance.

The work does not depict the sea as a place, but as a sensation: an internal space where everything moves, yet can still hold. Transitions are gentle, almost imperceptible, like when an emotion stops pressing and becomes expansiveness. The gesture repeats and refines itself; matter turns into atmosphere; atmosphere becomes refuge.

Metamorphosis manifests here as a step toward the essential: a submerged light that does not dazzle, but guides. A change that needs no drama to be real. A pause. A horizon of water where what once hurt cools, where what was heavy becomes light, and where calm is not absence of movement, but a movement that finally learns to care for itself.
