Metamorphosis: After the Tremor

✨ Metamorphosis: After the Tremor✨

Acrylic

30x40cm

In this piece from the Metamorphosis collection, change does not erupt—it spreads. The painting is organized in horizontal bands, as if emotion takes the shape of a horizon slowly shifting. Moist, luminous greens coexist with pink veils, soft oranges, and flashes of yellow, creating a space that seems like landscape, but is actually a state: an inner atmosphere.

The layers overlap without imposing themselves.

There is something of fog and memory: colors that appear, dissolve, and return, like thoughts that do not seek to explain themselves, only to pass. In some areas, light opens up; in others, the matter grows denser, as if the body remembered where it stored its weight. This alternation—clarity and suspension—sustains the heartbeat of the work.

Metamorphosis here manifests as a quiet, profound transition: the moment when, after the tremor, the emotional no longer struggles against itself and begins to settle, to find a temperature, a breathable rhythm. It is neither an ending nor a beginning; it is an “in-between.” A place where color learns to linger long enough to transform.
