Slow Mind Art: The Legacy of a Gaze That Awakened My Creativity

Slow Mind Art: el legado de una mirada que despertó mi creatividad

There are people who come into our lives and leave an indelible mark.
For me, that person was Dolors, my art teacher in high school.

She didn't just teach painting techniques; she taught us to listen to our own hearts, to create from the moment, to look within ourselves without fear or judgment.

With Dolors, I learned that creativity should not hurt, but liberate, and that every color, every stroke, can speak of what words cannot express. Her gaze and patience awakened in me something that would become everything I am today: an artist, a creator, and a dreamer.

Slow Mind Art LAB is born from that legacy.
It is a space where emotional abstract art, mindful outings, and gastronomic experiences are combined, so that each person can explore their creativity, reconnect with their inner self, and find a refuge for the mind and soul.

Every workshop, every activity, and every walk carries a piece of what Dolors taught me: the importance of listening, feeling, and creating without rushing.

Although time and distance may separate us, her influence remains alive in me, and there will always be a place in my heart reserved for what we shared.

This project is my way of honoring her, thanking her, and transforming her teaching into strength and freedom for others.

Slow Mind Art LAB would not be what it is without that spark she ignited, and every participant who enters this space touches, even subtly, that legacy that began with a teacher who believed in me when I still doubted myself.

Creating from the heart, exploring without fear, and letting art be a refuge: that is Slow Mind Art LAB. And that is, also, Dolors in my life.
