"Refraction” inhabits the emotional territory of fragmented perception and internal multiplicity. The work does not present emotion as a single state, but as an experience that unfolds in layers, reflecting how feelings and thoughts break down, transform, and reinterpret themselves as they pass through consciousness.

The gestures and lines of the composition evoke light dispersing through a prism: each emotion splits into nuances, each thought generates reflections that collide and reconnect. The emotional experience here is complex, like looking within oneself and discovering that each feeling contains other emotions inside it.

The contrasts of color and the suggested textures convey intensity and delicacy at the same time.
