In this work from the Metamorphosis collection, color does not fill—it penetrates. The brushstrokes fall vertically like a slow, insistent rain, made of layers that touch and blend without ever fully dissolving. Deep greens hold the background like a living terrain; pinks, ochres, and oranges erupt as moods passing through the body, leaving traces behind. Between them, whitish clearings appear, breaths: spaces where the paint seems to open up to let in light.

The metamorphosis here does not happen with a clean cut, but with a continuous sliding. Like when an emotion changes its name without warning, or when a stage ends without drama, simply because something inside has already shifted. The surface preserves this transition: glazes, drags, transparencies, and areas of density that make the invisible visible—the emotional time.

More than a scene, the piece proposes a sensation: being inside a change that has not yet fully decided itself. And yet, moving forward. Letting what weighs transform into texture, what burns become nuance, what confuses find rhythm. Metamorphosis manifests as a curtain of moments: a fall that, instead of sinking, cleanses; an inner rain that, at last, fertilizes.
