Metamorphosis: Bronchi of Light

✨Metamorphosis: Bronchi of Light ✨

30x40cm

Acrylic

In this piece from the Metamorphosis collection, transformation is expressed in warm tones. The surface is crossed by vertical veils of orange, coral, and pink, as if color slowly slides across the canvas, leaving a trace of warmth. No single image dominates; there is a presence. A field of light that seems meant to be breathed rather than seen.

The painting moves between density and transparency. In some areas, the pigment accumulates and weighs; in others, it opens to reveal earlier layers, as if the work preserves its own attempts to reach a softer place. In the details, an anatomy emerges: branching forms reminiscent of bronchi, as if the painting contains a respiratory system made of matter and golden glimmers.

Metamorphosis manifests here as a passage from heat to calm. Like when what once burned becomes shelter, when intensity stops being a threat and becomes available energy. The work holds that “in-between”: neither euphoria nor wound, but a warm breath reorganizing itself until it finds its form. Bronchi of Light: the moment when heat learns to become air.
